So, this is really what being a Couch Reporter is all about. There’s nothing that matters more to people than local issues. Bear witness to news-making stories and spread the word. What do you want to say about where you live? What bothers you? Why do they charge so much for a cup of coffee anyway? With so much global brainpower needed today, it’s nice to just reflect on our own street through our own eyes. Explore it here and who knows, maybe you can get some momentum for change or spread around some good down home local news.

Couch Reporter is a free-to-use local news reporting and social networking destination for users to become “broadcast reporters” on issues of interest (local & global) and create a “town hall” flavor for sharing ideas and solutions geo-targeted by user-generated profiles, assignments, channels, reports (video & print), reviews, comments, recommendations and social-centric content.
